WS Gardens (Wayne and Shelley) have provided services to Grandborough Parish Council since 2015. The initial contract was to provide 'Lengthsman' services to the Parish - essentially doing all those highway, verge and road drainage maintenance tasks that the County Council had stopped doing. We were very impressed by the standard of workmanship and also the level of customer service which they provided. In 2016 they were awarded the contract for grass mowing covering the Parish Council's playing fields and verges in the village. The two contracts have been retained by WS Gardens through several re-tendering rounds, and in addition they have carried out a series of additional works such as ditch clearance and tree and hedge cutting. They have maintained their high standards of service throughout.

W S Gardens were granted the Grounds Maintenance Contract with Racemeadow Primary Academy from 1st April 2016. Their standard of work is excellent. Their staff are always courteous, knowledgeable and have a "can do" attitude at all times, they have carried out additional works at the Academy including carrying out repairs to the tyre park, removing huge truck tyres from our Foundation Stage Garden and making good the area to enable the gardens to be developed into a more child friendly teaching and learning outside space.

Coundon Primary School began a grounds maintenance contract with WS Gardens on 1st April 2014 and have been very impressed with the standard of work received and detail put in to looking after our school site.

WS Gardens began maintaining the grass verges for Shilton & Barnacle Parish Council during 2013.

The Parish Council has been very happy with the standard of work carried out and it has made a huge improvement to the appearance of the grass verges and the overall impression of both villages.

WS Gardens has also carried out additional work for the Parish Council, such as cutting back overgrown hedges, and has been extremely helpful when problems have occurred.

WS Gardens has been maintaining the grass verges in the parish of Wolvey since 2008.

During that time Wolvey Parish Council has been very happy with the standard of work carried out. The grass cutting is always completed according to the agreed schedule, weather permitting , and the job is always finished off well.

This has made a huge improvement to the appearance of the grass verges and the overall impression of the village.

From time to time the Council has also contracted WS Gardens to carry out additional work such as removal of weeds in roadside gullies and cleaning of bus shelters, which has again been carried out to the satisfaction of the Parish Council.

W S Gardens held the Grounds maintenance contract with Wolvey School for last year. They provided an extensive service to keep the school grounds very well maintained and as a result we have just renewed the contract for a further year.

The contract included the whole school grounds maintenance of the school lawns, borders, hedges fortnightly from March to October and monthly from November to February, as well as additional tasks for Sports Day.

Overall we have been very impressed with the high standard of work carried out by W S Gardens.
