W S Gardens Ltd becoming Daventry Danes Football Team Sponsor
We are proud to sponsor the Daventry Danes. Currently playing in the Under 11 Northamptonshire & District Youth League, the squad of 15 boys are coached by Ryan Costello and Adam Lee. The set up is entirely volunteer led and funded by us at W S Gardens.
The coaches at the Danes are committed to positively impacting the lives of the next generation. Teaching them more than just how to kick a ball; they encourage togetherness, bravery, friendship, commitment and the importance of a strong work ethic.
Founded in 2021, none of the original squad had played competitive football before. Since then, they've gone from strength to strength - first falling in love with the game, then adding footballing ability and more recently forming a strong bond and sense of togetherness. That bond, by the coaches' admission has been strengthened since the sponsorship deal was struck. Turning up to training and matches wearing matching kit with the W S Gardens logo front and centre has left the boys' feeling like they really belong to something. We hope they continue to learn, develop and love the game that they play, all whilst being as proud to wear the W S Gardens logo as we are to provide it for them.
Thankyou to everyone involved yesterday, What a brilliant day, Daventry Danes U11's were Mascots for Daventry Town football club v Cogenhoe, as the Daventry Danes sponsor we got the job of choosing man of the match and presenting the award.
KWB and Edward's Trust Abseil
Wayne and the team from W S Gardens are taking part in the KWB and Edward's Trust Abseil Challenge 2023. We will be reaching new heights by descending The Banks Tower 2, one of the city's tallest residential buildings at 33 storeys and over 100 metres tall. All money raised will go to Edward's Trust, who supports children, young people and families facing loss and surviving bereavement across the West Midlands.
